This week, I
want to tell you about one of my favorite South Asian dishes: Chicken Jalfry. Let's try to cook this dish with very common spices available in every kitchen without compromise it's restaurant taste.
FOR
MARINATION
Chicken – 1 kg cut into regular size
Turmeric powder – 1 tbl spoon
Pepper – 1 t spoon
INGREDIENTS
Oil – 1 cup
Onion – 1 big size (finely chopped)
Garam masala
(gota)
Spunky leaf (TEJ PATA)- 2pcs
Onion paste- 3 tbl spoon.
Ginger paste – 1 tbl spoon
Garlic paste – ½ tbl spoon
Pepper powder -1 tspoon
Turmeric powder – 1/2 t spoon
Dhania powder - 1 tbl spoon
Tomato sauce – 3 tbl spoon
Salt to taste
HOW
TO MAKE CHICKEN JHALFRY

First for marination mix
chicken, turmeric and pepper very well and keep aside this mixture for 1 hour.

Take a pan and add 1 cup oil
in it. Now put the pan on stove and switch on the stove. Put the finely chopped
onion and fry until its co lour turns golden. Remove it and set aside.

Now add marinated chicken in
the remaining oil. Fry it on medium heat until its color turns golden on both
side. Remove it and set aside.

Now put garam masala and 2
pcs spunky leaf. Add 3 tbl spoon onion paste, 1 tbl spoon ginger paste, ½ tbl
spoon garlic paste. Stair very well.

Add pepper powder 1 tspoon,
turmeric powder ½ tspoon, dhania powder 1 tbl spoon and stir very well until
leaves oil.

Add marinated chicken and 3
tbl spoon tomato sauce. Add salt to taste.
·
Add 1 cup water and cook on
medium flame. After a while water dries and leaves oil,your dish is almost
ready.

Add ½ tspoongaram masala
powder and 1 tspoonjeera (cumin) powder and cook for 2 minutes.
·
Sprinkle the golden fried
onion over the entire chicken.

Your dish is ready to serve
